School Reopening Plan
While most classes remain remote as a proactive measure to reduce the incidence of the COVID-19 virus within the facility, we recognize the importance of hands-on learning. Therefore, clinical simulations at the school will resume on September 15, 2020. With the priority of keeping everyone safe, we have instituted the following measures consistent with compliance with the CDC and the executive and administrative orders (A.O) 2020-17 regarding; Readiness of school premises, control of access to the premises, social distancing, having an assigned staff on cite, plus others deemed necessary such as wearing mask, and use of disinfectants.. In addition to our normal cleaning procedures, we have implemented the following for everyone’s safety:
- Class sizes will be limited and social distancing measures, such as maintaining (6) feet distance will be enforced. Please check the group you have been assigned to, the date and time for your group’s in-person instruction session will be held.
- Students, faculty, staff and visitors are required to wear masks at all times and practice safe hygiene. Colored flyers are posted throughout to serve as reminders.
- Hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the facility, colored flyers are posted throughout to serve as reminders.
- For students reporting to school, a proof of a negative COVID test must be submitted every two weeks prior to entering the school building and facilities.
- Students entering the school must complete a COVID exposure screening sheet and have her/his temperature taken and recorded.
We look forward to welcoming you back to school and appreciate everyone’s cooperation with the above measures. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
To everyone in our community: stay safe and healthy!!!
